Plant points are a way to count the variety of plant-based foods you eat each week. The goal is to eat at least 30 different plant-based foods (points) in a week.
Unlike your 5-a-day plant points focus on the consumption of a variety of plants.
Eating a variety of plants can contribute to a more diverse gut microbiome, which research suggest is beneficial for your gut health and overall health.
Our superfoods range is packed with plant points, each portion of our falafel contains 10 plant points, and our burger, crispy burger, sausage and crispy dippers contain a whopping 14.25 plant points!
Points are given for each different variety of plant e.g. if you eat two green apples, that is only 1 point for your weekly total.
Different coloured fruit and vegetables count as a new point e.g. if you eat green and red grapes, that is 2 points for your weekly total.
Fresh, dried, canned and frozen plants all count.
