Moving Mountains® Sausage Tabbouleh

  • 4 Moving Mountains® Sausages
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 120g bulgur wheat, cooked following the packet instructions
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • -
  • 3 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 100g olives, roughly chopped
  • 20g mixed herbs – mint, coriander, parsley, roughly chopped
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper



1. Start with cooking the Sausages. Warm up the oil in a large, heavy based frying pan over a medium heat.

2. Add the Sausages and fry until defrosted and golden brown, for about 8 minutes, flipping them over every 1 minute.

3. Add the sliced onion and garlic and lower the heat. Stir for 2 minutes and add the bulgur with the spices. Stir again until all the ingredients are well combined and spices start releasing the aromas.

4. Take the pan off the heat.

5. Transfer the bulgur into a large mixing bowl and add the tomatoes, olives and herbs. Mix all together and season to taste with lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.

6. Serve the bulgur salad topped with the Moving Mountains® Sausages. Enjoy!
