Moving Mountains® Sausage

We have developed a plant based pork sausage, which flawlessly imitates a traditional sausage flavour, which during testing trials even had Butchers fooled!

The Moving Mountains® Sausage contains all natural plant-based ingredients including pepper and nutmeg for an authentic flavour and aroma. It sizzles when cooked and has a sumptuously juicy texture. The structure of the Moving Mountains® Sausage reflects the texture of a traditional Bratwurst, which is chopped and not minced, creating a nice firm bite.

Our plant-based Sausage has a mind-blowing skin with the perfect, as the Germans say, “knack” (break of the skin) when cut or bitten into. The sausage skin is made with a plant-based casing and uses food-tech innovations to create its flawless structure, which parallels that of a regular pork sausage. It is the World’s first of it’s kind.

Each Sausage contains zero cholesterol, is free-from hormones, antibiotics and is packed with plant protein. It is also bursting with flavour!

Storage for restaurants– Keep Frozen -18 or below.

DO NOT re-freeze once thawed.

Cook from frozen

  1. Cook from frozen.
  2. Add oil to a frying pan
  3. Cook on a medium heat for ~15 minutes in total
  4. Fry for a few minutes on each side until nicely browned/caramelised, moving around regularly
  5. Make sure the Sausage is cooked thoroughly before eating

Cook from chilled

Frying pan

  1. Add oil to a frying pan
  2. Cook on medium heat for ~8 mins medium heat
  3. Fry for a few minutes on each side until nicely browned/caramelised, moving around regularly
  4. Make sure the Sausage is cooked thoroughly before eating

Oven

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C
  2. Place Sausages on a tray (with at least 2-3 cm between each product) and cook in the centre of the oven
  3. Cook for 20 minutes
  4. Make sure the Sausage is cooked thoroughly before eating
