Millennial Pubs To Add World’s First Meatless Food-Tech Hot Dog & Plant-Based ‘Bleeding’ Burger To All Menus Nationwide From 6th August

Moving Mountains® is launching its meatless Hog Dog and ‘bleeding’ Burger into Stonegate Pub Company’s group of millennial pubs across the country. The welcoming and informal pubs will serve the items in key locations such as Oxford, Plymouth, Bristol, Manchester and Cardiff as  demand for more plant-based options increases.

With Generation Z and millennial’s leading more vegan and flexitarian diets, Moving Mountains’ revolutionary options meet this growing demand by using the latest food-technology to create foods that taste, smell and have the identical texture as meat but are completely plant-based.

Known for keeping abreast of the latest food and drink trends, the Stonegate Pub Company will be the first millennial-focused venue to add both the Moving Mountains Hot Dog and Burger to its menu, available nationwide from the 6th of August.

Simeon Van der Molen, Founder of Moving Mountains says: “We are taking an exciting step by partnering with Stonegate Pub Company to bring Moving Mountains to all generations. Providing these options reflects an understanding of the up and coming generations evolving dietary preferences in eating more exciting plant-based food that is better for the environment.

“Without any compromise on taste, the Moving Mountains® Hot Dog and Burger will increase millennial accessibility of meat-free dishes, providing viable alternatives for flexitarians, vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.”

Jessica Dixon, Marketing Manager, Stonegate Pub Company says: “We’ve had an increasing demand from millennials to add more plant-based options to our menus to cater to the growth of young people driving the meat-free movement, who also demand the latest technology. We’ve therefore added both the Moving Mountains Hot Dog and Burger to our menu, which are created using the latest food technology and expect this to be a big hit with our customers.”

The Moving Mountains menu items at Stonegate Pub Company’s group of millennial pubs include:

The new and latest launch from the brand, the Moving Mountains® Hot Dog, will feature within the ‘This Terms Special’ section of the menu and will be topped with crispy onion, spring onion, diced gherkin, red onion, ketchup and French’s® mustard. Served with fries and ketchup for dipping, the new addition can be purchased for £6.45 – £8.45 depending on the venue. Unlike any other plant-based hot dogs on the market, visitors can tuck into a vitamin rich dog that uses sunflower seeds as its base and is identical to its pork counterpart.

The Moving Mountains® Burger will be layered with red pepper houmous, spinach, smoky soya and mature grated Violife – accompanied with either topped nachos or skinny fries. Each Moving Mountains® Burger has zero cholesterol, 20g of plant protein, is vegan and free-from antibiotics and hormones. Visitors can buy this option from £7.45-£9.45.

Moving Mountains’ plant-based meat requires less land and water and produces less greenhouse emissions than animal meat, it can be enjoyed 100% guilt-free.
