Moving Mountains Fish Fillet Launch in partnership with Kennedy’s of London …
Moving Mountains® (www.movingmountainsfoods.com), the pioneering British food tech company, celebrated the successful launch of its brand-new plant-based Fish Fillet last week.
Partnering with Kennedy’s of London at their Barbican restaurant location, the launch announced the arrival of the new Fish Fillet and involved a giveaway of the ultimate plant-based fish and chips to 200 eager members of the public, press, and MIC’s own plant-based advocate Tiffany Watson.
The newly launched Fish Fillet is the second product in Moving Mountains’ new fish alternative range and will be available at home through Ocado and in restaurants nationwide from the 8th of July. Kennedy’s of London’s already extensive range of Moving Mountains products, and other Vegan & Vegetarian dishes, making them the perfect partner to launch this classic British dish.
380 million portions of fish and chips are eaten in the UK every year impacting ocean life. The Moving Mountains® Fish Fillet has been created to tackle the sustainability crisis in the oceans caused by over-fishing, whilst still allowing Brits to enjoy their favourite meal.
Moving Mountains® groundbreaking new product uses plant-based ingredients and incredible scientific processes to deliver the taste and texture of real fish. The Moving Mountains® Fish Fillet is 100% free of microplastics and mercury and has 10g of protein and 4.5g of fibre per 100g. It has a succulent, flaky texture and is coated in golden, crunchy panko breadcrumbs and it can be enjoyed as a direct swap for the traditional variety.
Moving Mountains® has already changed diets across the globe with its plant-based meat range and now the brand is extending the flexitarian revolution with a realistic alternative to fish.
If you missed out on the launch, the Moving Mountains plant-based Fish Fillet will be available to buy for the first time from Ocado from the 21st July with an RRP of £3.99.
